2018 Doyle's Almanac of Newfoundland and Labrador

Doyle's Almanac of Newfoundland and Labrador 2018 is now available and focuses on forecasting for the province for 2018, featuring local sunrise/sunset times and astronomical events.

As well it celebrates our island's people and heritage, featuring  an interview with Andy Jones, one of our province's most beloved and accomplished artists. There is also a story about singer  Biddy O'Toole, who was quite a local celebrity in the 1940s.

There are also songs and poetry from the collection of Gerald S. Doyle that reflect the influence of the land and sea on the people of our province. Doyle's Almanac also features recipes, and a large selection of colour photographs that capture the beauty and spirit of our island, including a story about Torngat Mountains National Park,  and 'a day on the bay' cod fishing story.

Doyle's Almanac will he having a 2018 book launch at the BIS, 30 Harvey Road on Sunday October 15, 2017 from 6-8 pm, hosted by authors, Robert Doyle and Gus Fanning. Special appearances by Andy Jones, Pamela Morgan, and Rock & Trish Furlong. Small bites will be served and there will be a cash bar available.Book signings will be available.
